3 Simple Ways You Can Do To Tweak Your FB Ad campaign To Lower CPC

Have you ever experienced that you are out of targeting option to test your ad?
Or just simply want to lower your cpc?

Here are some tips that can help you to get an Idea how to tweak your ad to lower cpc without putting much effort on researching your audience
but this tips will only work when you have already have existing or a running campaign.
This won’t work if you’re just starting out.

WARNING: The result may vary depending on your audience and you still need to test it out. (more of this later)
You may already know this method too:)

You may not notice it but it’s there.
There are 3 ways to optimize your existing ad just by changing
Age: 18-65+
Gender: All, Men or Women
and Placement: Desktop or Mobile 🙂

So the question is how will you know which one you will specifically use.

From this stats you can already tell which one will cost you less in terms of gender . This way you now have an option to target Women.

Same goes with Age. Click the Age to see the stats

As you can see below the Age range that has low cost is from 25-34.

And also same with the Placement

That’s the 3 ways  you can use and make your cpc lower.

I have done this method and it works but I still need to test it out.

I have run a campaign the targeted both gender, but decided to test out which gender will make a lower cpc

So I run a campaign separating Men and Women, same age range, same location and interest.

The result was this.

Based on the result I can have lower cpc from Women, so I made another 2 adsets  to test the Age range

The result is

With this results I can focus my campaign with the one with the lower CPC.

How To Make Your “Display URL” in FB Ads Useful

As we all know there is an option in “Creative” part in Power Editor that you can put the URL of your website.

The purpose of this is to display your website address and nothing more.
So what if you can make it useful?
Instead of just showing your website address.
You can do this.

You can put a CALL TO ACTION instead of just showing your website URL.
This way you are suggesting to people (that will see your ad) to make an action.
Pretty cool right?
I have done this many times to my ads and it works great.

New Facebook Power Editor: A Walk-through

I’m happy when I saw Jon Loomer’s post about the New Facebook Ads Manager because one of the account of my client is already in a platform so I’ve been using it for a about 2 weeks now.
I also feel blessed about this because I think I was one of the few that experienced it early.
It has been confusing for me at first but I eventually cope up with it but still need to learn more.
As Facebook Ads Manager has a new look, so as with the Power Editor that will soon be rolled out too and in this post I will share a few of it.

Let’s start.
Now in the New Facebook Ads Manager click Power Editor

What can you say about the new look?
At first it is also confusing for me but with a little testing and discovery I’ve gotten a little used to it.



Power Editor has now a top navigation and looks like this.

As you can see it also look like the top nav of the New Facebook Ads Manager right?
It links to the following

  • Manage Ads (default)
  • Audience – Now you can easily create new custom or a WCA
  • Image Library- This is new and cool addition in Power Editor, it let’s you see all the images you have used in your ads
  • Reporting – This is like the reporting from the old Power Editor
  • Page Posts – Now you can easily create a page post and the so called unpublished post
  • Tools- let’s you navigate to other link (I’ll show you later)

Some links existed before, just in a new location.

Let’s look now on the new platform.

As you can see there is no label now for  Ad sets and Ad that we usually see at the top but only Campaign.
That’s because it was put on the Side.

You can also now see an overview of your campaign on the other side which I think is so useful when you want to search a certain Campaign.

Maybe you’re wondering how you can edit your adset now, it was also my problem at first. And to save you from that here’s how.

Select an Adset, tick the check box

Click the”pencil icon” at the right corner

And a new window will slide from the right and it will be like this

Just scroll down for more of the adsets.
3. For Ads

Just like in Adsets to edit your Ad, select an Ad

Then it will be like this. It was really cool because it is now easy to see the image of the ad without the hassle of adjusting the height(in the old Power editor).

How to Add a User in Facebook Business Manager

If you’re using a Facebook business account it is easy to add user to manage your Facebook page or your AD campaigns.
You can also assure that your account is secured because you can assign to them an access level and all you need is their email address.

Ok let’s begin.

On your Business Account Dashboard click Settings

Add the email address

Just choose Ad as Business Manager employee

Select what Page he/she is assign, just tick the box

How To Create A Google Hang Outs That Automatically Save In Youtube

Google Hang Outs can be use as a tool to record a how to videos, teach a group of people  or your friends  live or record an instructions for a certain task and so on.

First of all you need to have a G+ account or already registered to Google.

Ok let’s begin.

Log in to your G+ account.

Click the Home icon on the upper left corner.

You can schedule when you will have your Hangouts be live or start it now.

Click Later if you want to schedule it from a specified time.

Then choose your audience, you can broadcast it publicly, to your circles, or to a specific people (may need gmail address if not in your circle).

Click the Start Button to begin

When you’re ready or the people you have invited has already joined click the Start Broadcast button and Ok Go live to start the recording and it will be automatically uploaded to your Youtube channel.

How To Set Up Facebook Website Custom Audience or WCA

Website Custom Audience is another powerful tool use in Facebook Advertising.
This tool let’s you to re-target your website or landing page visitor.
Meaning you can use it to run another Ad especially for them.

Let’s begin

On Ads manager click Audiences

On the upper right corner click Create Audience (the green button)

Select Custom Audience

Then choose Website traffic

Click on “People Who Visit Specific web pages”

How to set up an autoresponder using Benchmark email

A couple of days ago I created a post on how to integrate/link Unbounce to Benchmark.
What is it for? It is to automate of storing the leads/emails your getting in unbounce to benchmark.
Now in this post we’ll set up an autoresponder which we automate sending of emails, this is the freebies/lead magnet you’ve promised.
With this you don’t have to email one by one the people who gave their emails.

Ok Let’s start.
Log in to your Benchmark email.
On your Dashboard
Hove over the arrow and a dropdown menu will show

Then click  Create Autoresponder

Name your sequence, this is for you to label this certain autoresponder to a certain campaign so that you will know which belong to this process.

And then write your name or your branding

Scroll down and tick the Permission Reminder

This is to remind people where they have sign up and to confirm that they are interested in it

Scroll down again and choose your email list (this is the one you made when you link Unbounce to your Benchmark)

Take note that this is the list who’ll receive your freebies/lead magnet.

Then click Save & Next

Scroll down a bit

And you will see this and just edit the Subject the way you want it to be

From the option “Send Email”, click the drop down arrow and choose “Immediately Upon Subscription”

Creating the body of the email

Just click “Select”
